My name is Tayla Dinuccio and I am a Senior Exercise Physiologist and Team Leader at The Next Step.
Since graduating from Deakin University in 2017 with a masters of clinical exercise physiology I have been working at The Next Step. I have always wanted to work within an emerging field with a population that needed specialised training. I enjoy being constantly challenged to help in the growth and development of exercise physiology in the neurological field, whilst working with dedicated and passionate individuals who are all striving for common goals.
The Next Step is able to provide rehabilitation both physically and emotionally. It’s a place for individuals, families and carers to receive therapy in the form of Exercise Physiology, remedial massage, and acupuncture. We have a range of knowledge and resources to help with their independence and goals. This holistic approach is what drew me to The Next Step and is what inspires and motivates me to make sure I can provide the best possible care to all that walk through the doors of The Next Step.
Outside of The Next Step I coach national level gymnastics at Niddrie Gymnastics Club, and have done so for 12 years. This has helped me develop a range of coaching and creativity skills to help in my exercise prescription and my progression as an Exercise Physiologist.
Over the past 7 years my spare time has been dedicated to playing football, with the past three years being for the Western Bulldogs in the VFLW.
