My name is Ben and I am an Exercise Physiologist at The Next Step.
I originally found out about TNS when I was placed here as one of my clinical placements for my Masters of Exercise Physiology degree at Deakin University. After spending a total of 8 weeks on placement at TNS I was fortunate enough to be offered a casual allied health assistant position with the team and I couldn’t say yes quick enough. 12 months on and a lot of time spent studying into the wee hours of the night, I am working at TNS as an Exercise Physiologist.
Outside of TNS my passion lies in sport and in particular the Carlton Football Club and all that goes with it. I have played football for the past 15 years and most recently been at the Panton Hill Football Club since 2013. Outside of football and TNS I spend most of times with my family, friends, my partner and our dog Kobe the Kelpie x Staffie.
What I am most passionate about at TNS is the relationships I build with both the staff and clients that come through the door daily. The rewarding nature of my job is so unique and makes coming into work so enjoyable. The community Rhiannon and the team have built at TNS is incredible and I look forward to continually being a part of that in the future. I am extremely excited to further myself as an Exercise Physiologist and utilise those skills in my work at TNS.
