Rhiannon Tracey

  • Role: Founder and Executive Director
  • Years worked for TNS: 10 years
  • What inspired me to work for TNS: It was apparent to me during the early stages of my own recovery that Australia lacked recovery options for those wanting to recover and/or improve their quality of life after injury. So, I set out on a mission, collected a few people along the way, and established the facility we know call “TNS” (The Next Step Recovery & Wellness Centre)

About TNS

What do you find is the most rewarding about your role at TNS?

Every single day this facility and those who attend it give me a reason to strongly believe I have a purpose in this world, and that every day, I am living it!

What are some of the positive impacts you notice your work has on participants?

I think something we often take for granted is the happiness exercise can bring to our lives. I mean, its science – exercise boosts dopamine so in turn we become happier. Though it’s just so much more within our facility because the happiness comes from being ABLE to exercise, not just having too!

What do you love most about working at TNS?

There is not just one thing, it’s everything! From the family dynamic, to the journey of each individual that comes through our doors, to the dogs – there is ALWAYS a doggo at TNS!

Get To Know Rhiannon

Meet Rhiannon, our lively founder with a passion for all things Italian. Whether it’s savouring the cuisine or diving into the language – she’s recently signed up to Italian language classes, so watch this space!

On weekends, you’ll find her either tending to her garden or enjoying quality time and eating with friends. Rhiannon’s currently indulging in her guilty pleasure of binging The Real Housewives of NYC, post her trip to the Big Apple.

You can also find her swooning over Henry Cavill in her favourite TV series, The Witcher or rewatching her all-time favourite movie Practical Magic.

An avid coffee lover, Rhiannon’s mornings are powered by the magic of caffeine which aids in her being a productive morning person.

With three dogs and two cats, she’s the ultimate fur baby fan, while not so much when it comes to being a sports fan. Rhiannon’s superpower lies in her ability to uplift and energise others, complemented by her unfiltered honesty – a love-it-or-leave-it trait.

Self-love, family, her fiancé, and fur babies are the top of her list of loves. She’s always up for Italian food or popping to country music, which she enjoyed listening to while travelling to Nashville, her favourite travel destination.

Guided by Marilyn Monroe’s wisdom, “Sometimes things fall apart so that better things can fall together,” Rhiannon is a force of positivity and accomplishment, particularly in establishing our beloved facility!
