What do you find is the most rewarding about your role at TNS?
Witnessing athletes come in with goals like dancing at their daughter’s wedding or learning to drive, and then watching their dedication payoff is truly remarkable. Seeing their joy and newfound confidence blossom is a privilege, and I’m grateful to be a part of their journey.
What do you love most about working at TNS?
I deeply appreciate the genuine care and dedication of our entire team towards our athletes. We’re all committed to helping them regain their independence and embrace a “let’s try” attitude rather than dismissing ideas without attempting them. The family-like atmosphere and our collective willingness to explore new approaches make this a truly special place.
Meet Sheree, our adventurous, half Chinese, and creatively inclined Senior Exercise Physiologist!
Her quest for the perfect dumplings is unmatched. On weekends, you’ll find her off-roading, sheep herding, and exploring the great outdoors with her husband and trusty Kelpie cross, Remi.
As a confirmed night owl, she’s currently engrossed in binge-watching “The Fosters” while occasionally revisiting beloved classics like “McLeod’s Daughters” and “The Lion King.” Sheree’s heart belongs to the rugged beauty of the Australian top end, especially Kakadu and Litchfield.
Her creativity shines as her standout trait, and she lives by the motto, “In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.”
When it comes to music, she oscillates between punk rock and country tunes.
Sheree’s most remarkable achievement? Helping three individuals regain mobility after neurological impairment. She’s our intrepid exercise guru with a heart of gold!

At The Next Step Recovery and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, our mission is to provide tailored programs and services for athletes recovering from spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions. Our Athlete Scholarship Program secures generous funding for athletes without financial support.
